A Milestone for Muslim Community as Momoh Takes on New Ministerial Role

The Edo Muslim for Equity and Good Governance (EMEGG) is celebrating the appointment of Hon. Abubakar Oshiokpekhai Momoh as the Minister of Regional Development, a significant milestone for the Muslim community in Nigeria.

In a statement issued today, the General Coordinator of EMEGG, Sheikh Sirajudeen Muhammad, expressed the community's pride and joy at this development. 

According to him, "This is a moment of great pride for all Nigerian Muslims. Hon. Momoh's appointment is a testament to his dedication, commitment, and contributions to the nation."

The statement highlighted the Minister's proven track record of service and his potential to bring positive change to his new role. 

EMEGG expressed confidence in his ability to drive progress and development across Nigeria.

"We wish Hon. Momoh wisdom, strength, and success in his new role. May his tenure be marked by transformative impact and lasting benefits for Nigeria." Muhammad said.

Prior to this appointment, Hon. Momoh served as the Minister of Niger Delta Development. His new role as Minister of Regional Development is expected to further strengthen the Muslim community's representation at the highest levels of government.
