The Oghieaga of Ibvie in Etsako East Local Government Area of Edo State, Nigeria, who is the Amirul Hajj of Edo State in the just concluded 2025 Hajj, His Royal Highness, Mallam Ali D. Sulayman recently held a high-level meeting with the leadership of the World Assembly of Muslim Youths (WAMY) in Riyadh, the capital city of Saudi Arabia.

Speaking via WhatsApp shortly after the meeting, Dr Abdulateef Ukashat, a staff of the Nigeria Embassy in Riyadh noted, "It was a meeting to discuss possible collaborations with WAMY on Edo youths educational development and all round support for them."
He added that the Oghieaga's presence at the strategic meeting further highlights his role as a bridge between tradition and modern Islamic advancement.
The meeting focused on strengthening Islamic development initiatives, youth empowerment, and educational collaboration between the global Muslim community and local Islamic efforts in Nigeria.
It was also gathered that the he leadership of WAMY while commending the commitment of HRH Mallam Ali D. Sulayman to Islam and the teachings of Islam noted that his foresight and dedication to Islam and his proactive engagement in forging international partnerships that can benefit the Muslim Ummah, particularly in Edo State is commendable.
Mallam Ali D. Sulayman and his royal dedication to Islam and humanity has continued to inspire confidence and unity among Muslims. This reaffirms his status as a purposeful leader in both religious and community affairs.
