The Executive Commissioner for Policy, Personnel, Management and Finance (PPMF), Prince, Mallam Aliu Abdulrazak representing the South-South region in the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) lauded the Edo State Government and the Edo State Pilgrims Welfare Board for their exceptional efforts in ensuring the well-being of Edo Pilgrims in the Holy Land.

Prince Abdulrazak gave this commendation when he visited the Edo State pilgrims currently at Hotel Maqam Al Nokhba in Makkah.
Speaking from the holy land, the chairman of Edo State Pilgrims welfare board, Mallam Musah Muhammad Uduimoh, noted that during the commissioner's visit to the Edo State contingent in the holy city, he expressed profound satisfaction with the arrangements made by the state government and the Pilgrims Welfare Board.
He added that the commissioner specifically praised the noticeable decorum among the Edo pilgrims and the comprehensive support provided to them, affirming that Edo State has set a commendable standard in pilgrim management.
Chairman Uduimoh noted, "I am truly impressed by what the Executive Commissioner said about our state during his interaction with the pilgrims and officials.
"The level of organization, the decorum displayed by our pilgrims, and the dedicated efforts of the Edo State Government through its Pilgrims Welfare Board are truly exemplary. It is clear that the significant resources and thoughtfulness which have been invested in this exercise to ensure our pilgrims receive the best possible experience during this sacred journey are never wasted."
He added that the commissioner's remarks serve as a significant endorsement of the Edo State Government's commitment to the welfare of its citizens, particularly during religious exercises of this magnitude. The Edo State Pilgrims Welfare Board has been actively working to provide seamless logistics, spiritual guidance, and welfare support, including measures to address the ongoing heatwave in Makkah.
The Executive Secretary of the board, Alhaji Eranga Abdulkabir Muhammadkabir, who also spoke via a Whatsapp voice note, said that officials of the Edo State Pilgrims Welfare Board present in Makkah expressed gratitude for the commissioner's recognition, reiterating their commitment to maintaining the high standards of service and care for all Edo pilgrims. They emphasized that the praise from a high-ranking official of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) serves as a great motivation to continue improving their services.
The positive feedback from the Executive Commissioner highlights Edo State's successful preparations and ongoing support for its pilgrims, ensuring a conducive and fulfilling Hajj experience for all.
