Mallam Musah Muhammad Uduimoh, Chairman of the Edo State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency, Governor Monday Okpebholo following his victory at the elections tribunal.
In a statement released to the press, Mallam Uduimoh expressed his delight at the tribunal's ruling, which upheld Governor Okpebholo's election. He described the victory as a testament to the will of the good people of Edo people and a validation of the governor's mandate.
According to him, "We are overjoyed by the outcome of the tribunal's proceedings. This ruling reaffirms the confidence that the people of Edo State have placed in Governor Okpebholo's leadership. We, as members of the Muslim community in Edo state, wish him all the best as he continues to lead our dear state."
He further emphasized the importance of unity and peaceful coexistence within the state, urging all parties to accept the tribunal's decision and work together for the progress and development of the state.
He noted: "Now is the time for us to put aside any political differences and join hands with the governor to move Edo State forward. We must focus on building a stronger, more prosperous state for all its citizens."
Mallam Uduimoh also used the opportunity to reiterate the Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board's commitment to supporting the government's efforts in promoting peace and harmony within the state.
