Muslim Group Hails Governor Okpebholo's first 100 Days

The Edo Muslim for Equity and Good Governance (EMEGG), Edo State has lauded Governor Senator Monday Okpebholo's achievements during his first 100 days in office. In a congratulatory letter dated February 22, 2025, and signed by General Coordinator Sirajudeen Muhammad and Secretary Abdullah Umar, EMEGG expressed their satisfaction with the governor's leadership and its positive impact on the state.

The letter highlighted Okpebholo's commitment to key sectors, including education, healthcare, security, and infrastructure development, noting that his policies have brought "renewed hope" to the people of Edo State.  The group specifically praised the governor's vision for the state and his dedication to delivering the dividends of democracy to all citizens.  They expressed particular admiration for his efforts to "reset Edo state and bring back her lost glory."

"Sir, your leadership has been truly impressive and the impact of your policies is already being felt across Edo state in your first 100 days in office," the letter stated.  "We make bold to say with gratitude to Almighty Allah that your commitment to education, healthcare, security and infrastructure development have brought a renewed hope to the people of Edo State."

The group also offered prayers for the governor's continued success and wisdom, wishing him strength and guidance as he continues to serve the people of Edo State.  They also included a message of support for the governor regarding the ongoing Election Petition Tribunal, wishing him victory.  "Sir, we also wish you victory at the ongoing Election Petition Tribunal," the letter concluded.
