The Chairman of the Edo State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Mallam Musah Muhammad Uduimoh, has commended Governor Okpebholo’s administration for its achievements within its first 100 days in office.
Speaking during a special Friday prayer service at Igun Central Mosque in Benin City to commemorate the Governor's first 100 days in office, Uduimoh expressed gratitude for the governor’s support and acknowledged the contributions of key government officials including the Secretary to State Government, Umar Musa Ikhilor Esq and the Chief of Staff, Hon. Ganiyu Audu.
"We thank Allah for the achievements within these 100 days. So far, so good. We appreciate the Governor for this opportunity to serve the Ummah and also extend our gratitude to the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Musa Ikhilor, and the Chief of Staff, Hon. Ganiyu Audu for their continuous support since we came in as the leadership of the board," Uduimoh stated.
The Chief Imam of Benin, Abdulfatah Enabulele, who led the prayers, also appreciated Governor Okpebholo for his accomplishments within the period. He prayed for the success of the administration, asking for divine guidance and wisdom for the Governor and his team.
The event was attended by several dignitaries, including the Managing Director of Edo Broadcasting Service (EBS), Suleman Aledeh and the Chairman of the Edo State Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (EDSCIA), Alhaji Abdulazeez Igbinidu and Imaams of other Muslim communities in Edo South.
The special prayer session was part of activities marking Governor Okpebholo’s 100 days in office, reflecting the collaboration between the government and religious bodies in Edo State.
