Senior Special Assistant to the Edo State Governor, Hon. Paul Chukwurah Ubah, has congratulated Governor Monday Okpebholo on the celebration of his one year anniversary in office, describing the period as “a testament to purposeful leadership, courage, and a renewed vision for Edo State.”

In a statement issued on Thursday, Ubah commended the governor for his strong commitment to good governance, infrastructural renewal, economic revitalization, and the welfare of the people.

He noted that within just 12 months, Governor Okpebholo has demonstrated clarity of purpose and an uncommon passion to rebuild Edo State, pointing to the administration’s achievements across sectors including security, road development, healthcare, education, job creation, and rural development.

Ubah said, “Your Excellency has proven that leadership is not measured by length of tenure but by the impact felt by the people. In one year, you have brought hope to communities, restored trust in government, and positioned Edo State on the path of sustainable growth,”

He further praised the governor’s people-centered approach, noting that his open-door policy and responsiveness to citizens’ concerns have endeared him to Edo people across political lines.

Hon. Ubah expressed optimism that the governor’s second year in office would usher in even greater accomplishments, assuring him of his continued loyalty and support as the administration advances the collective dream of a prosperous Edo State.

He added, “On behalf of my family the Ibo Community in Edo and supporters, I heartily congratulate His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo. Edo State is proud of your achievements, and history will remember your bold steps toward a better future,”
