PRESS RELEASE: GOV OKPEBHOLO PAYS CONDOLENCE VISIT TO GENERAL CECIL ESEKHAIGBE OVER RELATIVE'S DEMISE

Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has extended his condolences to retired General Cecil Esekhaigbe and the entire Esekhaigbe family over the passing of their beloved aunt, Mrs. Agnes Ibhagbosoria Macaulay.

The Governor, who paid a condolence visit to the family, described the loss as deeply painful and expressed profound sympathy to all who mourn her demise.

Governor Okpebholo noted that the late Mrs. Macaulay lived a life marked by compassion, humility, and service to humanity. He remarked that her gentle spirit, charitable disposition, and devotion to family and community will be fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Her passing, he said, has created a void that will be difficult to fill, not only within the immediate family, but also among friends and associates whose lives she touched.

Governor Okpebholo prayed that God, in His infinite mercy, grant the family the strength to bear this irreparable loss and the fortitude to find comfort in the cherished memories they shared with the departed.

He further prayed for the repose of Mrs. Macaulay’s soul, asking the Almighty to receive her into His eternal Kingdom where pain and sorrow are no more.

Governor Okpebholo urged the family to remain united in faith and love, drawing comfort from the assurance that Mrs. Agnes Ibhagbosoria Macaulay’s soul rests peacefully in the Lord.
