New Hampshire Capital, a leading Meter Asset Provider (MAP), has announced revised prices for prepaid meters under the Ikeja Electric MAP scheme, aimed at enhancing affordability and closing Nigeria’s metering gap.
According to a statement by the company, single-phase meters will now be sold for ₦124,000, while three-phase meters will cost ₦215,000. Both prices include installation costs, and the new rates will be valid from August 6 to October 6, 2025.
Oluwakemi Omirin, Chief Operations Officer of New Hampshire Capital, said the initiative is part of the company’s mission to empower electricity consumers with tools to manage their energy usage more effectively.
Omirin stated, “By offering these meters at an accessible price point, we are taking a significant step towards addressing the huge metering gap in the country,”
She noted that New Hampshire Capital has been a long-standing metering partner with Ikeja Electric, having financed and installed over 190,000 prepaid meters under the MAP scheme.
The company’s meters, she added, are valued for their durability, accuracy, and ability to provide customers with a transparent way to monitor consumption.
The COO advised Ikeja Electric customers interested in purchasing a prepaid meter to visit the Ikeja Electric website and follow the MAP scheme guidelines.
New Hampshire Capital also emphasised its commitment to quality service, highlighting its skilled installation team, prompt deployment, and post-installation support and maintenance. This, the company said, further reinforces its reputation as a reliable and consumer-focused service provider in Nigeria’s power sector.
