The Governor who expressed happiness over the improvement noted, "Until now, you can spend days on this road to get to Iruekpen, but today it will only take you 45 minutes because the road is now smooth and better,"

This drastic improvement in transit time between Benin City and Iruekpen in Esan West Local Government Area is a testament to the state's focus on practical governance.

Governor Okpebholo attributed the success on the road to Edo State's alignment with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda.
