Ahead of the highly anticipated Hajj exercise, the Chairman of the Edo State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Mallam Musah Muhammad Uduimoh alongside the Executive Secretary of the Board, Eranga Abdulkabir Muhammadkabir joined officials from the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) to conduct a comprehensive inspection of facilities designated for Nigerian Pilgrims in Mina and Arafat in Saudi Arabia.

The visit is to ensure that all necessary arrangements are in place to guarantee a comfortable and hitch-free pilgrimage for all including Edo state Pilgrims.
According to Chairman Uduimoh who spoke with _Sparknewsline9ja,_ via a Whatsapp voice note, said the inspection team meticulously reviewed the allocated tents in Mina (City of Tents), where pilgrims spend a significant time to perform Hajj rites adding that emphasis was placed on the quality of bedding, cooling systems, and the general sanitation within the tents.
Sources indicate that NAHCON has been actively engaging with service providers, to ensure upgraded tent facilities and improved feeding arrangements for Nigerian pilgrims this year.
The presence of Edo State officials during this inspection underscores the state's commitment to verifying these improvements firsthand and advocating for the best possible conditions for its pilgrims.
Chairman Uduimoh however expressed satisfaction with the level of preparations observed expressing discernible improvements compared to previous years.
"Generally there is a great improvement in this year's Hajj arrangements". Uduimoh noted. We are ready to give the best to Edo Pilgrims, that is our focus. "He added in a separate remark".
