Edo State pilgrims currently undertaking the Hajj pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia held a special prayer session at their accommodation, Amjadal Salam Hotel in Madinah today.
The fervent prayers were offered for the peace, progress, and prosperity of Edo State, as well as for the success of the state governor's initiatives.
The prayer session was jointly led by the Chairman of the Edo State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Mallam Musah Muhammad Uduimoh, his secretary and the Amir Hajj, HRH, Mallam Ali D. Suleyman, the Oghieaga of Ibvie.
In a voice note conveyed from the holy city, Chairman Mallam Musah Muhammad Uduimoh emphasized the significance of the prayer session. He stated, "We are offering prayers for our dear Edo State. We earnestly seek the Almighty Allah's divine intervention to grant success and strog support to our Governor in all the good and beneficial endeavours he has planned for the betterment of our state and its people."
The collective supplications of the Edo pilgrims in the sacred land of Madinah underscore the deep spiritual connection and concern they hold for their home state. The prayers for the governor's success highlight the pilgrims' hope for positive developments and good governance in Edo State.
